FACT SHEET
"Allison is poised beyond her years. She continues to impress Martha and me with her grace, beauty, talent and charm. She has what we say in the biz as that magical it."
- Mike Borchetta President and co-owner Lofton Creek Records
"Her vocal prowess continues to amaze me as it did the first time I heard her sing. One usually has to reach back to the past ala Patsy Cline or Al Green to find a singer who can bend notes at will, long before auto tune was a staple in music.
- Chuck Howard Producer and co-owner H2E Records
"I first heard Allison three years ago and was bowled over by the clarity and power of her young voice. Now, a thousand days and nights have given her additional maturity. In the tradition of Brenda, Tanya and LeAnn, we have a young lady with decades of hits in front of her."
- Moon Mullins Journal Broadcasting
"Great pipes; Great song; Great future!"
- Dr. Bruce Nelson KFTX - "Real Country" - 97.5 Corpus Christi, TX
What music do you listen to yourself?
I love Texas Music like Pat Green. I listen to a variety of music including country. I grew up singing karaoke. First song was "Walking After Midnight"
What was your "break" into country music?
Growing up in Refugio, a friend of my dad’s, a county judge stopped by the house and heard me sing. He asked if he could send a tape to a friend, Herbert Graham. Herbert and Chuck Howard came to hear me in person with a swing band, Rhythm of the Road, and the rest is history.
You recently shot the video for your current single, "Send A Message," what was that like?
It was a great experience! I was deeply touched by the men at Cecil Air Base. Many of them were close to my age and to think that they will be defending our country and putting their life in danger for us was very moving. I have always loved this song from the first time that I sang it. Shooting the video was more fun than I ever imagined. The costumes and scenery were spectacular and the whole crew was so nice to work with. Everyone made this one of the most
memorable experiences that I have ever had.
How long did it take to shoot, where was it shot?
The video was shot in Florida at several different locations. We started at Cecil Air Base
in Orange Park, Florida. We moved to Ocala for the next two days and shot in different locations. The last day was in the middle of a huge lake and I was standing on a platform in the middle of a ten-foot boat while a helicopter circled around me with the cameraman hanging
out of the helicopter filming me. I found out later that the lake has alligators. I was glad that I didn’t know it at the time.
Why do you like to sing country music?
It’s about real people and that’s what I grew up listening to daily.
