Bio: Singing since she was a toddler, and performing since the age of six, Bailey’s life has always been filled with music. Growing up in a household full of musicians and music lovers, she fondly remembers singing to the music ringing throughout her home from music greats such as Martina McBride, Sara Evans and Faith Hill. Her love of singing developed into a need to perform. From talent shows, and family and school functions, to weddings, graduations, festivals, and other social gatherings, she performed at every opportunity. Realizing that her enthusiasm for music was not going to be a passing phase and at the urging of fans and supporters, at the age of twelve, Bailey decided to take her music to the next level. Bailey walked into Rosewood Studios, Billboard Magazine’s 3rd ranked recording studio, and captured the attention of music producers Greg Hunt and Gary Leach. Greg and Gary have worked with talents such as LeAnn Rimes, Lila McCann, Steve Holy, and Jodi Messina, just to name a few. Within a short time, they began working on Bailey’s first album “Exit”, a compilation of originals and favorite hits. The recognition from this album helped her share the stage with Mark Wills and even achieved distribution success with retail giants such as Wal-Mart and Barnes & Noble. Then, in the fall of 2006, Bailey started her very own label, BEG Records (Bailey Entertainment Group) and released her second album “Don’t Look Down”. Releasing her music to radio for the first time she began receiving nationwide airplay on over 105 radio stations. Since the creation of BEG Records Bailey has gone on to claim three Top 15 hits on the “Texas Music Chart”, three Top 5 hits on the “National Independent Country Music Chart” and she went on to accumulate 28,000 radio spins on Music Row’s Chart in 2007. This incredible accomplishment at radio allowed Bailey to walk away with the award for Music Row’s, “Country Breakout Artist of the Year”. She has quickly proven herself to be an exceptional singer/songwriter and a refreshing addition to the country music scene. Now signed with country music label Lofton Creek Records in Nashville, Bailey and LCR will be releasing her newest written single to Billboard Radio this year. “This will be her fourth single release but her first to Billboard. It is entitled “Let the Music Play” and she is preparing for what we expect to be a very exciting future, said Mike Borchetta. “I remember when I watched Bailey walk on stage to accept her Music Row Breakout Artist of the Year award I told my wife Martha, that girl is going to be a star, we should sign her with LCR. It was a year in the making, but we are excited about finally having her on our roster. We believe Bailey is going to be one of those artists’s that will be around for a long time. She not only captures you with her beautiful poise when she walks on stage but then you hear her music and voice and you just know she is going to be special in this industry. We are honored to be working with Bailey here at LCR. She is a great writer as well, and she has a natural instinct for this business. Something that you hope for when signing any new talent to your label,” said Mike Borchetta LCR President. Bailey can be found these days on the road with her band, mostly in Texas and Oklahoma. LCR will have her hitting radio stations nationally very soon and you might catch her in your city in the near future. You can also catch her this June at CMA festival on the Hard Rock Café Stage on the River in Nashville, TN June 6 2008.
