Keith Bryant was raised on a farm in the foothills
of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. His
love of music came early, and naturally. Although
Bryant had to balance his passion for music
with the work required to keep the household
running, he always found time to practice and
learn the guitar.
Raised in a Christian home, Bryant grew up singing
and playing in church. He eventually formed
his own gospel band. At age fifteen, he was
inspired by his piano player to learn the instrument.
The piano became so important to Bryant that
he was often found skipping school to go to
church and practice. While performing with his
